△ Introduction 

Stool DNA Reagent is a safe stool DNA protective agent. It can rapidly cleave salivary cells, inactivate nuclease and protect DNA from degradation.

Stool samples are soaked in the reagent and shaken violently to disperse. They can be stored at room temperature (25°C) for 15 days or -20°C / -80°C for long time.

△ Storage and Stability

Stool DNA Reagent can be stored at room temperature for 18 months. If crystal precipitation occurs during storage, redissolve it in 55°C water bath.




△  Usage

1. Take 0.2-1g stool sample into 5-15ml centrifugetube.

2. Add 10 times the volume of Stool DNA Reagent tothesampleImmediately.

3. Vortex and break up the sample fully so that the fecal sampleisfully dispersed into the preservation solution.

4. Can be stored at room temperature (15-25ºC) for 2weeks,2-8ºC for 1 month, and -20ºC for a long time.





△ DNA extraction process

The product contains SDS/EDTA components, which canlysemostcells/bacteria for DNA extraction. The sample is fully re-suspendedfirst, and 0.8-1.5ml of re-suspension is taken for DNAextraction.Magen D3141(Spin Column extraction) or D6364(MagneticBeadextraction) is recommended for extraction.
