△ Introduction 

Saliva DNA Reagent is a safe saliva DNA protective agent. It can rapidly cleave salivary cells, inactivate nuclease and protect DNA from degradation. Saliva sample can be stored at room temperature (25°C) for more than 6 months or - 20°C / -80°C for long time by simply soaking in the reagent.

△ Storage and Stability

Saliva DNA Reagent can be stored at room temperature for 18 months. If crystal precipitation occurs during storage, redissolve it in 55°C water bath.




△ Note

1. Do not eat, drink or clean your mouth for at least 1 hour before taking the saliva sample.

2. Do not cough into mucus or sputum while spitting into the bottle or tube




△ Usage

1. Spit about 1.5~2ml saliva directly into 5ml centrifuge tube.

2. Add equal volume of Saliva DNA Reagent.

3. Cover tightly and mix upside down 5-10 times.

4. Label or bar code.

5. Samples can be stored at room temperature for more than 3 months without degradation of DNA.
